What’s the Process of Buying?

To purchase property in St. Kitts, buyers must make an offer, sign a purchase agreement, secure funds (through existing funds / savings or via a local mortgage), engage a local law firm, open a local bank account and then complete on their purchase.

It’s straightforward if you understand the process, but if not, there can be bumps along the way. Which is why our team of experienced buyers and realtors will guide you to ensure that your purchase is a success and, more importantly, stress-free.

Once your offer has been accepted by the seller, you need to sign a purchase agreement and put down a deposit. The deposit is typically 10% of the purchase price but can be more or less on mutual agreement. 

At this point you can either find a mortgage via a local bank or by your unit in cash in which case
